ACCC investigations into the hearing aid industry

Vivid Hearing Welcomes the ACCC report

In March 2017 the ACCC released a report into practices associated with selling hearing aids after receiving complaints from consumers. Vivid Hearing welcomes these investigations and denounces the concerning practises. Consumers can be assured that Vivid Hearing:

  • Does not pay commissions to their audiologists or apply pressure to meet sales targets
  • We prescribe hearing aids based on individualised communication and budget needs NOT profit margins
  • Vivid Hearing never applies pressure to buy and always allows home trials of hearing aids before you buy
  • We are bound by a clinical code of ethics from our professional body, Audiology Australia

Vivid Hearing are here to guide you successfully through your hearing aid experience with care and support.

Winner of Vivid Hearing Caravan and Camping Competition

Congratulations goes to………………….  ROB WHITE of Duncraig.

Rob entered our competition to win a $100 BCF voucher.  All he needed to do was have a free hearing screening and now Rob can go shopping at BCF.  CONGRATULATIONS.

Vivid Hearing would like to thank all the people who visited us at the show.  We had a great time chatting to everyone about their hearing AND listening to all their camping stories.  It was a wonderful 5 days.

Life Begins At 50 Expo

We recently provided free hearing checks and information to all the fabulous attendees at the Life Begins At 50 Expo held at the Perth Showgrounds in October.  It is always great to have the opportunity to meet the general public and to talk with you and answer your questions about hearing – both hearing related issues and concerns as well as hearing aids and how to use them and other resources to maximise your hearing experience.

At the expo we had a draw for a $500 voucher to Westfield which went to luck winner, Lynley Crump. Happy shopping Lynley!
