Widex mission statement:  It’s our mission, through originality, perserverance and reliability, to develop high quality hearing instruments that give people with a hearing loss the same opportunities for communication as those with normal hearing.

Widex was established in Denmark in 1956 by Christian Topholm and Erik Westermann, son’s from both founding families joined the business from 1966-1976 and the company continued to expand globally.  To date Widex is represented in more than 85 countries.  It’s head office is located in Lunge, north of Copenhagen and it is still owned and managed by the Topholm and Westermann families.  The companies focus continues to be on technological advances in order to enhance the end users  hearing aid experience.
